You can get an approximate date of your Bechstein using the case number. If you have the serial number, that is the best way to find out the exact year of your Bechstein (refer to our Bechstein Serial Numbers page if you have the serial number).
The easiest way to find the case number of your Bechstein grand piano is by crawling underneath the piano and looking up at those large wood beams. Not too far from the lyre, you should find the case number carved/etched into one of the beams. Once you find it, locate the closest match below to determine the age of your Bechstein.
