Bosendorfer Model 280 Grand Piano
This concert grand piano is a completely new model. The keyboard and action
were developed specifically for the Model Concert Grand 280, taking into account
the new shape of the piano. The keyboard has graduated keylengths from the
bass to the treble, and the hammerhead weights are graduated accordingly,
hereby ensuring a perfectly balanced touch for the action and keyboard. The
combination of a seperately cast Capo-D'astro bar with a partial duplex system
of stringing for the treble area, creates the conditions required for the
customary colourful timbre Bösendorfer are renowned for, coupled with securing
a perfect dynamic response.
