Bosendorfer Vienna Grand Piano
In most people's minds, Vienna stands for a musical tradition that reached a climax in the 19th century. Beethoven, Schubert, Strauss, Brahms and Liszt, to name just a few, shaped the world of music then, and for us, they are as alive today as ever. Their glorious music has its counterpart in the splendid architecture of the time, which is found on the Ringstrasse. The buildings were designed by the leading architects of the period, including Theophil Hansen, who also designed a Bösendorfe. Taking this tradition as their model, the masters at Bösendorfer have created a grand piano which embodies the essential stylistic features of the 19th century. The classicist movement of the early 19th century had to some extent replaced Baroque ornamental extravaganza by more subdued forms. This is the essence of the model "Vienna".
