* This morning, my wife and I took delivery of a beautiful Yamaha C2 (5'8) grand. After perusing and watching threads on this newsgroup for the past several months, we decided on the C2 last week. After playing all morning and driving my wife and child crazy, I couldn't be happier with our decision.
* I'm not saying that the C1 and C2 are bad pianos, but I think
the C3 and larger models are much better
* The C2's had the loveliest, sweet tone whereas the C3's seemed to lose that. the C2 is happy being the size it is, and behaves as a much larger piano would but the C3 just doesn't sit right with me. Well that's just my opinion. I seem to be at odds with most people but who cares. I like my C2 and will be keeping it until I can get a Bosendorfer!
