Versatile PC, MIDI and AUX connections
AUX connections let you amplify the Disklavier's sound via external audio
equipment without the need for microphones or other equipment. The AUX In
jacks also allow you to listen and play along with audio recordings through
the Disklavier's own speakers or headphones. Essentially, the Disklavier's
sound system is not just for Disklavier music... any audio device can share
the instruments speakers.
The built-in PC interface lets you connect the Disklavier directly to your
personal computer for an extended set of musical possibilities. Play the Disklavier
from your PC keyboard and applications or download music files for playback
on your Disklavier. With Yamaha's CBX MIDI driver installed, your PC essentially
becomes your MIDI Song File jukebox!
