Why would you pay $50,000 for a piano just because it was a limited edition (of 30) where produced. Surely the fact that there were 30 of them means that it ISN'T a collectors item and is instead a money-making PR scam by Yamaha. It's not like Elton John toured with these pianos or used them to write music or had them in his home - he's just sold out and put his name on the front, that's all.
